Welcome!
Friendship House in Wamego, Kansas has grown to become one of Northeast Kansas' favorite eating establishments. Casual dining in a unique, comfortable atmosphere makes Friendship House a popular gathering place for young and old
alike.
The original owners purchased the property in October, 1988 and opened for business January, 1989. Margaret and Francis Feyh, purchased the business June, 1998
and ran the business until they retired May 2008.
The current owners, Mike, Margo and Matt Pray
purchased the business May 2008. Since taking over the business,
they have added a Family Style Sunday Brunch and the
Carriage House behind the restaurant offers Sno Biz
Shaved Ice (52 flavors) and cookies on a stick, and
pop and water.
The Friendship House will continue to make it their mission to bring a new freshness of homemade quality to a homemade community.
That is how we measure our cup of success.
Quality, not quantity, is the goal of the bakery and
restaurant. The daily menu is not large but one
can always be assured of a tasty selection. All
bakery items are made from scratch and fresh-baked
daily. Bakery selections available include
homemade cinnamon rolls and other sweet rolls, muffins,
and nine varieties of
cookies.
The indoor dining area of the Friendship House seats
only 65 so at peak lunch hours, expect a short
wait. You will find the service friendly and the
fresh-tasting, home-style food well worth the
wait.
All items are available for take-out orders also.
